Accessibility

A site about making operations work for people should work for people. We build and test this site against WCAG 2.2 level AA, and accessibility decisions are made at design time — not patched in afterwards.

What's built in

Color and contrast. Text colors are verified against their actual backgrounds to meet AA contrast, in both the light theme and the dark hero band.

Keyboard. Everything you can do with a mouse you can do with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element. Nothing on the site removes focus outlines.

Motion. Every animation on the site — including the full-screen cinematic and the scroll-driven sequences — respects your system's reduce motion setting. Turn it on and the site becomes calm and instant, with no content lost.

Structure. Semantic HTML, one h1 per page, labeled landmarks, a skip-to-content link, and alt text on meaningful images. Decorative visuals are hidden from screen readers.

Mobile. The layout adapts to any viewport with no horizontal scrolling, and the mobile menu uses full-size touch targets.

Known limitations

The interactive tool diagrams are visual by nature; their content is also presented as adjacent text (the WHY / WHERE / WHEN / HOW / IF breakdowns), so nothing is only in the picture. If you find a place where that's not true, that's a bug — tell us.
